Walking Bull Story & Culture helps you tell your story by example and analyzes the culture paradigms that come up when we go deep into who we are.

Over the last 25 years in journalism, organizing, philanthropy, and the nonprofit sector, the one thing I’ve learned is that good storytelling is crucial to advancing equity for marginalized people.

In the last decade, I’ve come to understand that culture and progress advance at the speed of trust; assessing where we are, creating shared meaning, taking a deeper dive into what we don’t know, and trying new strategies are all part of effective communications and achieving any Equity and Inclusion goals you may have.

My work is three-fold:

  1. To tell my story and the story of my communities in all the ways it can be received.
  2. Work with partners to tell the story they want to tell.
  3. Reflect and direct action internally to achieve justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging goals you may have.
